The library
Sounds for your card
Eighteen sounds rolled, evolved and played on the maker's own GLIDE. Real keepers from real sessions, not factory output. Put them on a card and they're yours.
Loading never overwrites anything.
A sound from the card plays as the live sound. Your ten slots stay exactly as they were until you choose to save over one. Try everything.
Put the file in a glide folder on the microSD card.
Create the folder at the root of the card if it isn't there. Any card the Cardputer already reads will do. Keep the file's name as it comes: Save to SD names a file from the sound's own name, so if the two disagree you end up with two files holding one sound.
On the device: settings → Load from SD.
Press tab, open LIBRARY, choose the sound. It auditions with a short lick and becomes the live sound. Play it.
Keep it on the instrument, if you want to.
fn+shift+q..p saves the live sound over that slot. Skip this and the card stays the library and the ten slots stay yours. How the slots, the * and undo all behave is in the playing guide.
They survive updates and travel card to card
Every file here uses the same tagged format as the ten slots and your own Save to SD files. A slot, a library patch and a Discord attachment are the same thing. Installing a new GLIDE cannot touch them.
You have these on fn+q..i already. They're here so you can hand one to someone, or fork one without spending a slot.
GLIDEfn + q
Synth brass on a plain saw: the filter attacks into each note, so it swells into its own blat. The boot tone.
GLIDE.gpatTaserfn + r
Open saw plus sub. Key-tracking darkens it as you play up; leaning swells the echo.
Taser.gpatCrisp Hornfn + t
Bright reed horn that sings its own 7-cent vibrato without you leaning.
Crisp Horn.gpatFat Squarefn + y
Punchy square, bright per-note filter bloom, a noise knock on the attack.
Fat Square.gpatBeds to solo over, two more acids, a comet, and the three presets that left the bank when it was recut, kept so nothing you liked went away with an update.
Backingcard
Bright buzzy bed: chorus, a sixteenth-note delay and a big hall. Tilt is the swell.
Backing.gpatNasal Bloomcard
Pulse through a bandpass way up at 7 kHz. Thin and vocal, blooms in slowly.
Nasal Bloom.gpatFuzzy Cometcard
Sustaining square, near-instant glide. The reverb tail blooms on the mod envelope and on pitch bend: the bend is the comet trail.
Fuzzy Comet.gpatBrasscard
Saw section: the filter attacks into each note and the mod envelope pushes drive as it opens, hall behind it.
Brass.gpatRaw Acidcard
Acid taken slow and mean: a 0.3 s swell into drive, resonant, on a quarter-note regen.
Raw Acid.gpatAll eighteen at once
The patches folder in the repo
Every file above, plus whatever's been added since this page was written. Download the folder, or the whole repo as a zip, and copy the .gpat files into /glide on your card.
