GLIDE only gives you notes that sound good together, so there's nothing to get wrong. Mash any keys and it still sounds like music.

The first five minutes

    Press keys. Scale lock means nothing sounds wrong.

    Hold a key, tap another on the same row. The note glides over like a finger sliding up a string.

  3. bottom row

    Tap a few keys on the low row. They become chords that loop under your playing. You're now a duo.

    Hold a note and tilt the device toward you. The sound melts into the last one you played.

  5. tab

What people ask.

I don't know music theory. Can I actually play this?

Yes, in the first minute. Scale lock keeps every key in the song, so there are no wrong notes to hit. Hold one key and tap another and the note glides over like a finger sliding up a string. No app, no account, no WiFi. It starts in Basic mode: every key always does the same job, seven scales, and nothing hidden behind a mystery menu.

Can I make an actual song, or just noises?

A whole song, alone. Tap in chords with no timing required, let the arpeggiator break them into notes, then loop it with one button. The loop counts you in and locks to the beat, so it stays tight however long you play. Then solo over yourself in a new sound. Tap tempo, chorus, reverb, and a delay that stays on the beat.

Why not just buy any cheap keyboard?

Because every one of those sounds the same. GLIDE invents its own sounds. Two were rolled the first time your unit powered on and exist nowhere else, and one tap rolls a fresh one whenever you like: pluck, bell, acid, wobble bass, bowed strings, and every roll is playable. Ten slots on the device, unlimited on microSD, and eighteen of the maker's own sounds free to download. Yours is yours.
